I'm a Postdoctoral Research Fellow of Business Administration in the Negotiation, Organizations & Markets Unit at the Harvard Business School.

I studied psychology at the University of Amsterdam, where I worked with Ap Dijksterhuis and graduated in Social Psychology in 2005. In November of that year I started my Ph.D. project on Unconscious Thought. After working at the University of Amsterdam for ten months, I started working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Unconscious Laboratory at Radboud University of Nijmegen.

My Ph.D. project was mainly on unconscious thought. Some of my other research interests are social influence, intelligence, and differing aspects of unconscious thought, including individual differences in unconscious thought and biological measures of unconscious thought. My most recent work is in the area of sleep research.
